Measure, Actioning, Progressing, Net Zero - Net Zero Cornwall

The Net Zero Accreditation provides small to medium size organisations a clear standard to measure carbon emissions accurately, manage and reduce in line with science-based targets consistent with limiting warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels

Measuring

You have started the process and have an initial carbon footprint calculation covering scope 1 and 2, a reduction plan and a commitment to start to mitigate CO2e within your organisation

Actioning

You have calculated your carbon footprint including scope 1, 2 and started to record accurately and tackle your main / significant scope three emissions

Progressing

You will have calculated your scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions accurately and offset your equivalent emissions through a verified / certified carbon credits provider

Net Zero

You will have recorded, monitored and mitigated 90% + of your carbon emissions in line with Science Based Targets and credibly offset the remaining emissions to achieve Net Zero or a Net Positive status
